NICE has partnered with C.L.A.S.S, which is a unique forum for textiles, fashion, home and design. The have their own home-page that we link to, but we also list below some of their choice contacts.
C.L.A.S.S. has a global network of expert staffed showrooms, they support and promote environmentally better products for fashion, home and design through a comprehensive range of eco-materials, yarns, prosesses, finishing products and services; thereby making the search for eco-friendly and sustainable fashion and home products easier. They have three permanent showrooms in Milan, London and New York.
Naturals and organics
Textiles made from wool, silk, cashmere, cotton, linen, bamboo, hemp. Some fully certified, other simply on the journey to better options.
Repurposed and recycled
Fabrics containing recycled polyester, recycled polyamide, recycled cashmere and recycled denim. Textiles with a second life help to reduce your carbon footprint.
Innovative renewables
New biopolymers (Ingeo™),paper, milk protein, soy, seaweed, regenerated cellulosics (Tencel®) are all textiles that are designed to reduce a dependency on oil and promote more sustainable renewable resources.
Processes
Natural dyeing, metal-free chemical dyeing, minimising effluents and good water management systems, along with chrome-free tanned leathers: Designed to reduce impact on the environment and resources.
